LOUIS GEORGE was a German watchmaker of the late baroque period. He was a descendant of French Huguenots living in Berlin in the third generation. From the 26th December 1769 on he was the “Watchmaker to the King” – or in French “Horloger du Roi”. He provided watches for 3 Generations of Prussian Kings like Frederick the Great and other sovereigns all over Europe. The production of precious LOUIS GEORGE wrist-watches started again in 2009.
