Australian internet users were today introduced to the work of designer Josef Frank when search giant Google replaced their traditional logo with one of his patterns on their home page.

Frank was born in Austria 125 years ago. Today, his famous textiles decorate homes all over the world.

To celebrate his birthday on July 14 (today, US time), one of Frank’s patterns, The Vegetable Tree, was rearranged to (for a trained eye) shape the word Google.
